Technical papers are invited from students. Each paper can have a maximum of two authors. Font should be Times New Roman, Size 12, Spacing 1.5 line spacing, Maximum of 6 pages of A4 size having a margin of 1” on left hand side. Paper should start with a brief abstract. Below the title of the paper, authors details like name, branch with semester, college name, email id etc should be invariably mentioned. Name of the author who is going to present should come first..

Technical quiz competition is being held to test the knowledge pertaining to current and general topics. A team of two students can participate. There shall be written prelims which will have questions relating to the engineering & technology field, the finals will be stage event.

A team of three students will be asked to solve real world problems with a three hour dead line. C /C++ /Java can be used as the programming languages.

 

Shirdi Sai Engineering College, Anekal is organizing 12th ISTE State Level Students Annual Convention on 30th & 31st October 2009 at its campus.

The theme of this Convention is “ Convergence of Science & Technology in Education & Research – A National Perspective”.

 

Objective of the Convention

• To know and understand the latest technology.
• To share and transfer new ideas about the unsolved problems.
• To provide a platform for sharing creative and innovative ideas.
• To trigger interest towards the emerging technology.

This convention holds a prestigious place in the calendar of academic conferences, conventions, and seminars in the field of technical education. In the era of unprecedented technological advancement, research has gained precedence. To provide the talented and aspiring youth across the state, a ground to voice their ideas In search of excellence, students will be given an opportunity to exhibit their hidden talents It is a platform where knowledge can be presented, transferred and shared among engineering students across the state.

 

About ISTE

The Indian Society of Technical Education is a national, non-profit making professional body, registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. Started in 1941 as the Association of Principals of Technical Institutions (APTI), it was converted into “Indian Society for Technical Education” in 1968 with a view to enlarge its activities to advance the cause of technical education in the country. Being the Only national organization of educators in the field of engineering and technology, ISTE is being represented by various Technical Committees and Boards formed by the Central Government. The Ministry of Human Resources Development, AICTE, DOE, DST and the State Governments have also been involving ISTE in many of their important programs and activities relating to the technical education.

 

OUR COLLEGE IS AN INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER OF ISTE (IM 1079). We have a ISTE Local Chapter (KA099) with more than 90 staff as members, ISTE Students Chapter (KA56) with more than 1400 students as its members from various branches of engineering studying in various semesters.
