OF INDUSTRY INSTITUTE PARTNERSHIP CELL INAUGURATION"
The Placement Cell of our college inaugurated the
Industry Institute Partnership Cell on 12.09.08 at
37th Crescent Hotel, Bangalore.
Dr. T.V.Govindaraju, Principal of Shirdi Sai
Engineering College welcomed the Gathering and Prof.
Beulah Devamalar have explained the reason for
starting the IIP Cell and explained the activities
that will be carried out by IIP Cell.
The IIP Cell has two Domains
:
1.
Centre for Research and Development – REQUIRO
2.
Centre for Training and Development
– CUNCTUS

The Centre for Research and
Development – REQUIRO was inaugurated by Mrs. Hema
Gopal, VP of Tata Consultancy Services and the
Centre for Training and Development – CUNCTUS was
inaugurated by Mrs. Priyasri Anilkumar, Talent
Management Group, HCL Technologies
The first News letter for IIP Cell – “Campus
Pathrika” was released on that day by Mr. John
Robert, HR – Manager, ITC and the first copy was
received by Mr. R.Duraisami, Director-
Manufacturing, Autoliv Safety system India Pvt. Ltd.
Shri. MJF Ln. Leomuthu, Chairman, Sri Sairam Group
of Institution has presided over the function
followed by all the Guests who were adorn the
function addressed the gathering. Finally Shri.
Saiprakash LeoMuthu, CEO and Managing Trustee, Sri
Sairam Group of Institution thanked all the Guests,
Invitees, Principal, HOD’s of all departments,
Volunteers and the Organizers.
IIP Cell Activities
:

Developing close links between Industry-Institute
by interaction programs.

Widening, identifying thrust areas & Implementing
R&D programmes, sponsored and joint R&D projects
from industries, in the Institute.

To encourage industry and organizations for
placement and training of students in Industries.

To conduct Industrial Training and Industrial
Visits for the students and faculty. To conduct
industrial exhibitions to highlight research
facilities and expertise available with the
Institute.

To encourage Industry to collaborate in Industry
Study Tour Programme (ISTP) / Intern-ship
Programme.

Organizing seminars, symposiums, exhibitions and
workshops.

Publishing and issuing technical bulletins/news
letters and course material with latest
technological developments.

Collaborating with other societies (National and
International) having similar objectives.

To generate resources in the form of industry
supporting projects and consultancy programmes.

To create industries, institute database.
